Why Kajabi is better than Wordpress for online courses and memberships
Kajabi free trial is usually only 14 days - use this link to get 28-day free trial* and tutorials to enable you to get up and running as quickly as possible.
Kajabi highlights
- Inbuilt everything from website, blog, membership and community
- Ease of use and functionality
- All-in-one solution: Hosting, landing & sales pages, sales funnels, email provider with automations
- Amazing customer support and training
- Functionality with the ability to add custom codes & your own domain name
- Security & automatically locking course content
- Ability to create discount coupons and free courses
- Secure video hosting included
- Easy payment integrations with both Paypal & Stripe
- Mobile app works automatically without you needing to reformat your course
- Because Kajabi uses their own custom code and not open source like Wordpress, it massively reduces the likelihood of your site being hacked
Kajabi downsides
- Dearer than other platforms (but worth it!)
- Limited to 3 courses and funnels on the lowest level plan and 15 on next size up
- Editing the membership template affects all pages in the course, so you can't have video download enabled on one page and not on another - it's download them all or none!
- The Kajabi email 'send address' to your customers looks odd ([email protected]) - you can customise this to your business email address but it may affect sendability rates if it's not an established and trusted email address
- Inability to automatically add comments to blog without having the Kajabi Pro plan, it can be done by manually adding a code to the bottom of each post :(
- Inability to upload your own fonts unless on the highest level plan (there are over 50 to choose from though)
